Indomie Ultimate Recipe Competition

(TERMS & CONDITIONS)

Competition Period

The competition commences at 12:01am AEST on 1 June 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 17 December 2026 (Competition Period). Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be eligible.

Eligibility

Entry is open only to individuals who, at the time of entry:

  • are residents of Australia or New Zealand
  • are 18 years of age or older
  • comply with these Terms and Conditions

Directors, officers, management, employees, contractors and immediate family members of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, agencies and any entities associated with this competition may be ineligible at the Promoter’s discretion.

Nature of Competition

This competition is intended to be conducted as a game of skill based on public preference, and not a game of chance.

Eligible entries may be uploaded to the competition microsite, where members of the public can vote for their favourite recipe. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, the winners will be determined by reference to the number of valid votes received through the microsite during the Competition Period.

Regulatory Classification

The Promoter intends this competition to be conducted as a game of skill and not as a game of chance.

Trade promotion permits are not required where the competition is lawfully classified as a game of skill under applicable laws in Australia and New Zealand.

How to Enter

To enter, an eligible person must during the Competition Period:

  • create and publish an original recipe video featuring Indomie on TikTok, Instagram or Facebook
  • ensure the post is publicly visible
  • tag the Promoter’s nominated account and/or use any campaign hashtag or other entry instruction specified by the Promoter
  • keep the post live and publicly accessible until at least the winner announcement date

There is no entry fee unless expressly stated otherwise by the Promoter.

Entry Information

The Promoter may identify and process entries using information made publicly available by the entrant in the relevant social media post and associated public profile, including:

  • social media handle or username
  • display name
  • profile image
  • caption copy
  • video content
  • recipe title, ingredients and method as visible in the post
  • platform and URL of the original post
  • any other information the entrant has chosen to make publicly available in connection with the entry

The Promoter may contact entrants via social media direct message, comment reply, email or other available channel to verify eligibility, seek permissions, request additional information, or notify them that their content has been selected for publication on the competition microsite.

Entry Requirements

Each entry must:

  • be the entrant’s original work
  • feature a recipe or recipe variation using Indomie
  • not contain pork, lard or alcohol ingredients or references
  • not be generated in whole or in part using artificial intelligence tools (including AI-generated recipes, instructions or content)
  • not infringe any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, moral or other third-party rights
  • not include content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, obscene, offensive, discriminatory, threatening or otherwise inappropriate
  • not encourage unsafe, irresponsible or dangerous cooking or food handling practices
  • comply with the terms of use, rules and community guidelines of the relevant social media platform
  • be suitable for publication on the Promoter’s website, microsite and social channels

Consent and Permissions

By entering, each entrant warrants and represents that:

  • they are the creator of the entry and have the right to submit it
  • they have obtained all permissions, licences and consents required for the Promoter to use the entry in accordance with these Terms and Conditions
  • any person appearing or identifiable in the entry has consented to being featured and to the Promoter’s use of the entry
  • if any person featured in the entry is under 18 years of age, the entrant has obtained the consent of that person’s parent or legal guardian
  • the Promoter’s use of the entry will not infringe the rights of any third party

Selection for Microsite Publication

Not all eligible social media posts will necessarily be published to the competition microsite.

The Promoter reserves the right to review, moderate, shortlist, approve, reject, remove, edit, crop, caption, adapt or otherwise prepare entries for publication on the microsite or in promotional materials, provided the substance of the entrant’s recipe concept is not materially misrepresented.

Public Voting

Approved entries may be uploaded by the Promoter to the competition microsite for public voting.

Only votes submitted through the microsite in the manner directed by the Promoter will count. Social media likes, comments, shares, saves or views will not count as votes unless expressly stated otherwise.

The Promoter may impose voting limits and anti-fraud controls, including without limitation:

  • one vote per person per day
  • one vote per email address
  • one vote per device or IP address within a specified period
  • email verification
  • any other authentication or validation method the Promoter considers appropriate

The Promoter reserves the right to verify, audit, discount or invalidate votes that it reasonably suspects are fraudulent, automated, manipulated, bulk-generated, duplicated, improperly incentivised, or otherwise inconsistent with the intended operation of the competition.

The Promoter’s determination of vote validity is final.

Winner Determination

Subject to these Terms and Conditions, the winning entries will be the eligible approved entries that receive the highest number of valid votes through the microsite by the end of the Competition Period.

If there is a tie, technical issue, vote irregularity, or reasonable suspicion of manipulation, the Promoter may determine the winner by applying additional criteria including originality, creativity, recipe appeal, presentation and brand alignment.

Each winner will be notified using the contact details reasonably available to the Promoter and may be announced on the microsite, the Promoter’s website and/or the Promoter’s social media channels on or after 10am AEDT on 18 December 2026.

Prize

The winner will receive:

  • 1 x gift card valued at $2,000 in the applicable local currency;
  • 12 months’ worth of Indomie products; and
  • Indomie merchandise,

with a total prize value of up to $3,000 in the applicable local currency.

There will be two (2) winners in total:

  • one (1) winner from Australia; and
  • one (1) winner from New Zealand.

Unless otherwise required by law, the prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. If the prize or any part of it becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law.

Verification

The Promoter may require the winner or any shortlisted entrant to provide proof of identity, age, residency, ownership of the entry, and any other documentation reasonably required to confirm eligibility and award the prize.

If a winner does not respond within 7 days after being contacted by the Promoter, is unable to verify eligibility, or is found to have breached these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter may disqualify that person and determine an alternative winner in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Licence to Use Entries

By entering, each entrant grants to the Promoter and its related entities, licensees, agents, contractors and assigns a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, communicate, display, distribute and otherwise exploit the entry, together with the entrant’s social handle, name, likeness, profile image and recipe details, for the purposes of:

  • administering the competition
  • publishing the entry on the competition microsite
  • promoting and publicising the competition
  • announcing finalists and winners
  • marketing, advertising and promotional purposes in connection with the Promoter, Indomie and related products

This licence applies in any media now known or later developed, including websites, microsites, paid and organic social media, email, digital advertising, PR materials and retail or point-of-sale materials.

Moral Rights Consent

To the extent permitted by law, each entrant consents to the Promoter doing any act or omission in relation to the entry that may otherwise infringe the entrant’s moral rights, including editing, adapting, communicating, reproducing, publishing, not attributing, or using the entry in modified form.

Privacy

The Promoter may collect, hold, use and disclose personal information for the purposes of:

  • conducting and administering the competition
  • identifying and verifying entrants and voters
  • contacting entrants, finalists and the winner
  • publishing approved entries on the microsite
  • facilitating, monitoring and validating public voting
  • investigating suspicious, fraudulent or invalid votes or entries
  • awarding and delivering prizes
  • promoting the competition, the winner and the Promoter’s products and services
  • complying with legal and regulatory obligations

Personal information may be collected directly from entrants and voters, or indirectly from publicly available posts and public profile information on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook where an entrant has chosen to make that information public in connection with their entry.

By entering, each entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Promoter may collect and use publicly available information associated with their entry post, including their handle, display name, profile image, post caption, recipe details, video content and post URL, for the purposes set out above.

The Promoter may disclose personal information to its related entities, agencies, website and technology providers, moderation vendors, prize suppliers, professional advisers and other third parties involved in administering the competition. Some of these recipients may be located outside Australia or New Zealand.

The Promoter will take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

If the Promoter collects personal information about an individual indirectly, including from a public social media post, the Promoter may notify that individual through the relevant social media platform, the microsite, the Privacy Policy, or by other reasonable means.

Marketing Communications

If an entrant or voter opts in to receive marketing communications from the Promoter, the Promoter may use their personal information to send promotional messages in accordance with applicable law and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

Individuals may opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe function in the communication or by contacting the Promoter.

Disqualification

The Promoter may disqualify any entrant, remove any entry, or invalidate any vote if it reasonably believes that a person has:

  • breached these Terms and Conditions
  • submitted an entry that is not original or that infringes third-party rights
  • engaged in conduct intended to manipulate voting or unfairly influence the competition
  • used bots, scripts, fake accounts, vote farms, purchased engagement or other artificial means
  • provided false, misleading or incomplete information
  • acted unlawfully, improperly or in a manner contrary to the spirit of the competition

The Promoter may monitor voting patterns and reserves the right to remove votes, disqualify entrants or invalidate entries where it reasonably suspects abnormal, artificial, coordinated or manipulated voting activity.

Social Platform Disclaimer

This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with TikTok, Instagram or Facebook. By entering, entrants release TikTok, Instagram and Facebook from any liability arising in connection with the competition to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Technical Issues

The Promoter is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, inaccessible, corrupted, misdirected or delayed entries or votes, or for any technical malfunction, platform outage, system error, network failure, unauthorised interference or other issue affecting the operation of the competition, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any person in connection with the competition or any prize, including any indirect, consequential or special loss.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Cancellation, Suspension or Variation

The Promoter reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to cancel, suspend, vary or modify the competition or these Terms and Conditions if required by law or if, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, the proper conduct of the competition is affected by circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the entrant’s country and state or territory of residence within Australia or New Zealand.

Entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that place. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any mandatory consumer, privacy or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Australian or New Zealand law.
